On Monday 27 and Tuesday 28 May, Symplexis piloted the ETHIKAS platform in Greece, supported by the Greek Forum of Migrants. With the help of the staff of the Greek Forum of Migrants, they planned a two-day face-to-face workshop at their place in central
Athens. They had already informed many beneficiaries of the organization by phone and they had distributed the project's leaflets in English. During the two-days, the trainer tried to respect the timetable and give all participants access to the Internet to explore the ETHIKAS website individually. They started with the presentation of Symplexis and the introduction of the trainer, the team did an ice-breaking activity and discussed the aim of this pilot. Then, they presented the ETHIKAS project, the partnership, the results, the E-book and they surfed all together to the Learning Hub. The next step was the trainer to motivate the participants to read the learning materials. In the classrooms there was an open and safe environment that boosted participation and interest. Thus, it was easy, the participants chose the courses they wanted and showed a lot of interest. The trainer gave them some guidelines, suggested that they also check the further resources and they closed the session with group discussion and the evaluation questionnaires. It's important to mention that all participants showed engagements to the pilot, participated actively with making smart questions, and during the last conversation, they agreed that the content of the materials was easy to understand and very useful for their future.
